Skills and Competencies
- 3+ years leading or managing software engineers, including coaching and career development, with the ability to lead through influence rather than formal authority
- Strong backend or platform engineering background, still hands-on at the Tech Lead level, with the ability to be both highly technical and an effective people manager
- Hands-on experience building AI/ML applications (RAG, agent frameworks, MCPs, skills, harnesses) and taking them to production or in platforming (LLM or MCP gateway, agentic runtime, auth, data retrieval, eval tooling)
- Experience operating production distributed systems on AWS/Azure, with a strong grasp of reliability, observability, and incident response at scale
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and translate technical topics for engineers and executives alike
- Strong sense of ownership and humility, with a thoughtful perspective on humans and AI agents working on the same team including what humans should and should not delegate
- Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. xwwtmva Strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated
