Job Description
As Senior Risk Manager, you will lead the implementation and ongoing operation of our client's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework tailored to the EU region, ensuring that new branch expansions, products and new/ongoing our client partnerships align to the principles, governance, and standards defined within it. You will set and continuously adapt partner onboarding and ongoing monitoring standards so they remain resilient to emerging operational (tech and non-tech) and financial risks and to shifting regulatory expectations.
You will apply the Europe Risk Appetite, run and oversee risk assessments, KRI design/monitoring, and risk reporting, and provide clear, pragmatic risk advice to product and business teams to help them resolve issues and deliver new features safely. You'll also play a key role in keeping EU risk governance effective by maintaining Risk Management (2LOD) policies for new branches, contributing 2LOD input to regulatory business plans, and presenting monitoring outcomes to EU and group committees—including executive management, regulators, and the Board—along with timely incident and issue escalations where required.
