We're looking for a People Coordinator to join our dedicated People team in Wallingford.
This is a broad, hands-on role supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and HR administration to employee relations and compliance.
There is a requirement to be onsite in Wallingford for a minimum of 3 days per week to provide visible, day-to-day support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HR administration and maintain accurate employee records in Hi Bob.
- Prepare People documentation, support compliance, right-to-work and visa checks.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, inductions and exit interviews.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries, escalating where appropriate.
- Support performance reviews, probation processes, employee engagement, training and wellbeing initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a People Coordinator or HR Administrator role, ideally in a fast-paced startup or scale-up.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.
- Experience using an HRIS (Hi Bob or similar) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of UK employment law is desirable.
Nice to Have * Experience in an engineering, robotics or hardware business. * CIPD qualification (or working towards one).
