As a Graduate Electronics Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced Mechanical, Software, and Embedded Engineers to design, test, and develop the electronics that power our robots. This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain real‑world experience across the full product lifecycle — from concept and prototyping through to testing and deployment. You’ll be part of a fast‑moving, collaborative environment where you’ll learn quickly, take ownership of meaningful projects, and contribute directly to innovative robotics technology. The role requires 5 days per week onsite in Wallingford.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the design and development of electronic systems, sensor interfaces, and controller boards
  • Assisting with PCB design, prototyping, testing, and board bring‑up
  • Working with embedded systems and microcontrollers (STM32 preferred)
  • Helping develop and run hardware and system integration tests
  • Debugging hardware issues using standard lab equipment
  • Collaborating with software, mechanical, and integration teams on robotics projects
  • Evaluating components and contributing ideas for improving performance and reliability
  • Supporting prototype builds, demos, and testing activities

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of electronic fundamentals and embedded systems
  • Exposure to PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or similar
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, CAN, UART, or Ethernet
  • An interest in robotics, automation, or autonomous systems
  • Practical hands‑on engineering skills and a willingness to learn
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
