About The Role
At Dexory, our autonomous robots are at the heart of what we do. We design, build, and test them in‑house at our Wallingford facility, and we are looking for a skilled, hands‑on Assembly Technician to join our electro‑mechanical team. This practical, workshop‑based role involves assembling and commissioning robot subsystems and full robot builds to the highest standards. The position is onsite, five days a week, and a full UK driving licence is ideal.
- Assembly of sub‑systems
- Assist in the assembly of complete robots
- Contribute to research and development projects
- Support the assembly process through continuous improvement projects
- Support the wider business as required
Essential Requirements
- Experience working in a technical function, both autonomously and as part of a team; familiarity with manual build and assembly processes of complex, high‑precision mechanical and electrical systems
- Accountable for building and preparing complete products to a strict schedule and quality
- Experience inspecting, testing and signing off production‑completed subsystems
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Must thrive under pressure, adapt to rapid shifts in priorities, and go beyond standard expectations to meet tight deadlines and deliver excellence
- Comfortable adapting to rapid changes
- Excellent communication skills
