We are looking for a VAS Architect who will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of Modern Workplace services and solutions for external clients, including technology, service delivery, and commercial aspects.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external clients, understanding business and technical needs, translating them into requirements, and shaping or validating solutions. You will also serve as a technical expert in solution design (HLD, LLD), development, and implementation to meet business needs. It is beneficial if you possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of the capabilities provided by DXC and its partners. The employee will be responsible for sizing and costing solutions, documenting them, obtaining governance approval, and ensuring alignment with commercial aspects like SOWs and project plans, while presenting solutions to clients and establishing trust.

Essential Job Functions

  • Act as architectural lead, ensuring deliverables support project requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with other architects and project teams to deliver aligned technical solutions.
  • Participate in defining and implementing architectural standards and guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance during build and implementation phases.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance efficiency and meet business goals.
  • Foster collaboration within teams and with cross-functional groups.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oversee the completion of architectural deliverables for projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor\’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Modern Workplace technologies such as Exchange, Office365, SharePoint, Desktop OS, Citrix, MS Teams, and collaboration tools. Good knowledge of VAS and VDI is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant cloud certifications or advanced training.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success in implementing enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Experience managing complex cloud architecture projects.
  • Continuous learner, staying updated with industry and technology trends.

Due to customer requirements, successful applicants must be eligible for high-level UK Security clearance.
