Job Description: As an Infrastructure Delivery Technical Lead, you will drive the successful implementation of Infrastructure projects across our global enterprise estate. Working within the Infrastructure Delivery department, you will develop and build delivery frameworks for each project, managing milestones, risks and opportunities, while ensuring team resources and stakeholders are kept aligned throughout. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and technical experts to support the Platform Delivery Cycle to define and agree requirements for transition, from design through to successful delivery and handover. Applying your proven leadership capabilities, you will drive the delivery of Infrastructure platform projects, while maintaining a focus on quality and continuous improvement. You will support the wider team and ensure our delivery processes, documentation and tools are optimised for our high performance culture.
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of modern multisite datacentres, Enterprise infrastructure platforms and industry best practice for service deployment and operations.
- Knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and Platform Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC) concepts and techniques, including IT delivery frameworks.
- Experience in service management and process engineering.
- Good understanding of automation and software defined datacentre concepts.
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, understanding value and implications on delivery.
- Demonstrable project planning and organisational skills to facilitate the successful delivery of projects within agreed deadlines and scope.
- Ability to identify key productivity measurements and articulate areas requiring service improvement.
- Knowledge of risk and issue management, adding value and alternative views to problem solving across disparate groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels, with the ability to negotiate and overcome challenges.
- Ability to coach soft skills across the delivery teams to support task fulfilment.

- Advocating for the Infrastructure Delivery and PDLC framework, methods and tools, ensuring consistency and quality across each project lifecycle.
- Facilitating and chairing project engagement sessions, ensuring the request is well defined, structured and agreed with the stakeholder.
- Driving the project initiation phase, developing scope and requirements, through to planning for testing and acceptance, deployment schedule, budgets and constraints.
- Leading and coordinating the delivery efforts of technical teams, including developers, engineers, and other specialists, ensuring smooth project delivery milestone execution.
- Monitoring project progress by identifying and mitigating risks that could impact project delivery, such as technical challenges, resource constraints, or changes in requirements.
- Driving collaboration, alignment and status transparency among team members, stakeholders and project delivery leads.
- Implementing processes and standards to ensure the quality of deliverables meet or exceeds agreed expectations.
- Improving and monitoring project performance and identifying opportunities for process refinement, efficiency gains and lessons learned for future projects.
- Driving agreed continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Infrastructure Delivery processes.
- Mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
