Team - Protection, (D2C Life Department) Hybrid role - Remote working (1 day a month in the office). Training will be 4 weeks based in the Stockport office.

What this role is all about:

It’s important to relate to your customer and understand their needs. If you care about your customer and can provide an exceptional service in catering to their product requirements, this may be the role for you. This role is about the quality of the customer journey, providing advice on Vitality Life products, and building a rapport so that through their choices they make the right one through us, as Vitality Life. This is over the telephone and can be direct with personal customers and our business customers too. We offer ongoing support, coaching, and we focus on your development in your Vitality career. Previous experience of working in Insurance sales is required.

What you will do as a Remote Protection Adviser:

  • Providing exceptional service and advice over the telephone to our customers.
  • Time management is key as we are fast-paced, and we have lots of customer needs to meet.
  • Proactivity in maintaining your knowledge being a driver in your own performance, knowing we will support in every step.
  • Ensuring that FCA and internal regulatory standards for advice provision are met.
  • Quality of advice provided is a must with every fact find, making sure you have everything documented along with the analysis and outcomes. Every conversation is important.

What you need to thrive:

  • Experience within Financial Services is a must.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Full understanding and knowledge of the regulatory requirements of the FCA.
  • Strong Customer orientation and engagement skills.
  • Highly motivated with a drive to deliver sales targets and outstanding customer outcomes.
  • A driven individual committed to personal development and progression.
  • Strong Organisation skills with the ability to manage personal time and focus to maximise productivity and results.
  • Financial services qualifications appropriate to the role, ideally CEMAP or R05.
