We are recruiting for a Risk and Control Analyst on a short‑term contract until 31st December 2026. The Risk and Control Analyst plays a key role in supporting Kingfisher’s internal control environment, helping to maintain robust and sustainable processes that ensure risks are clearly identified, well documented, and effectively managed across Group Functions, in line with the Group’s Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) programme.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of control objectives set by Group Internal Controls
- Maintain and update documented control descriptions across Group Functions
- Partner with control owners to ensure timely and complete execution of key controls
- Manage control evidence and ensure records remain accurate and up to date
- Support control testing, issue tracking, and remediation activities
- Contribute to ICFR reporting, attestations, and audit or assurance requests
Qualifications
- Exposure to risk, controls, audit, finance, or governance
- Developing understanding of internal control frameworks and ICFR
- Willingness to learn control design, implementation, and testing approaches
- Good communication skills with finance and business stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage tasks and work effectively within a team
