As a Development Team Lead, you will combine technical expertise with people leadership to guide a high-performing engineering team. You will be responsible for developing your team members, ensuring delivery excellence, and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with Product Owners and cross‑functional partners, you will align squad objectives with wider business goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, quality, and growth.
- Act as the line manager for squad members, supporting their development and performance
- Lead the planning and execution of team deliverables
- Drive improvements in team effectiveness, efficiency, and engineering practices
- Provide coaching, feedback, and mentoring to engineers
- Partner with Product Owners to align technical delivery with business outcomes
- Collaborate with Chapter Leaders and stakeholders on progress and capability development
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous learning
- Implement goal-setting and objective alignment processes
Requirements:
- Strong background in software development (.Net & Azure preferred)
- Solid understanding of quality engineering principles and modern development practices
- Experience leading and motivating engineering teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast‑paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
- Passion for people leadership, coaching, and talent development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of modern QA methodologies and frameworks
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
