An excellent opportunity has arisen for a software developer to join an established, dynamic and exciting team of development Engineers working on bespoke manufacturing equipment from new state-of-the-art premises in Hoyland, 0.3 miles from M1 Junction 36.
Working mainly with .Net in a Windows environment, the role will form part of a small team developing and growing a product range. Demonstrable ability in the following is essential:
- Writing, testing and evaluating code in .Net (or experienced in C# and willing to adapt to working in .Net)
- Experience in editing/debugging existing code
Other skills needed to a basic level:
- Python - editing existing code
- Performing on-site system testing and customer training
Additional skills/experience that would be beneficial, but not essential, include:
- Experience with HTML5 or HTML, and Frameworks such as Bootstrap
- SQL Databases
- Experience with MQTT Communications
- Experience with AI Model Building / Training
- Software unit testing
- Experience in a Linux Environment
- Jira work management
- Git
Applicants will work closely with the Software Engineering Manager, working in conjunction with them and the development team. A passion for software, developing solutions and working on actual innovative products will be essential.
