Responsibilities
You will define how the new investment offerings work from the ground up—shaping the product, the technical foundations, and every detail that makes it real.
Qualifications
- Strong product mindset and passion for user experience, prioritising customers and making data-driven decisions to fix pain-points
- Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player; will frequently involve cross-team collaboration
- Ability to break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value
- Ability to coordinate complex projects across different teams
- Experience developing web applications and distributed systems in a production environment
- Experience with common design and architectural patterns and a passion for writing clean, performant, well-tested code
- Curiosity and drive for continuous learning and improvement
- Advocating best coding practices, continuous delivery, and code reviews
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation, and schema design (plus)
- Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, and experience with a messaging system such as Kafka (plus)
