We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join the Account Communications team. We own the platform that delivers millions of customer communications every day — emails, push notifications, in‑app messages, and more.

Qualifications
  • You know how to deliver complex product solutions and build distributed systems used by thousands of customers every hour.
  • You are proficient in backend programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Python or Go and are willing to learn and work with Java services.
  • You have extensive experience in designing and implementing asynchronous, reliable and scalable systems in microservices environments.
  • You have a strong product mindset and genuine passion for user experience.
  • Clean, efficient, and well‑tested code is your standard.
  • You are comfortable using AI‑assisted development tools and apply engineering judgement to everything you ship.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with messaging or event‑driven systems.
  • Experience working with email delivery infrastructure.
  • Experience in API‑first development.
  • Experience with IaC is a plus.
