Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets within the UK Defence sector.
  • Build and grow a high‑quality pipeline across existing Defence accounts and new Defence opportunities.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including client call plans, pursuit strategies, and close plans.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior Defence stakeholders and ecosystem partners.
  • Stay current on DXC’s Defence offerings, technology trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Work collaboratively with industry teams, account leadership, solutioning, and delivery.
  • Provide accurate, transparent and predictable forecasting using DXC processes and tools.
  • Drive cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities across secure cloud, cyber, digital engineering, and managed services.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven success in senior sales roles, consistently exceeding targets.
  • 10+ years selling IT services/solutions into the UK Defence or National Security sector.
  • Strong understanding of Defence procurement processes (MOD, DE&S, Front‑Line Commands, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex pursuits.
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills with an established network across Defence stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to position high‑value, complex solutions.
  • Effective collaborator with outstanding communication and influencing skills.
  • High attention to detail, disciplined reporting, and strong sales rigor.
