Salesforce DevOps Engineer specialised in the design, implementation, and management of DevOps Solutions for Salesforce implementations. Applying DevOps principles to transform software delivery, improve productivity and quality focusing on the implementation of scalable and robust CI/CD strategies.

The role requires hands-on experience using agile methodologies on a day-to-day basis, resolving complex incidents and looking for continuous improvement of the client service. You will be discussing requirements with stakeholders/product owners and development teams to understand their needs with a focus on removing barriers on the path to production.

The AWS DevOps engineer is a subject matter expert in one or more categories that may include: Salesforce implementation, security, CI/CD tools, pipelines strategy, cloud infrastructure, monitoring and observability.

  • +5 years experience provisioning, configuring and maintaining AWS cloud environments
  • Have had working hands-on experience of a broad range of AWS service offerings: particularly focusing on their Compute, Management & Governance, Storage, Security; Identity & Compliance, Networking & Content Delivery, FinOps, Containers & Database products.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools
  • Experience building solutions based on containerization.
  • Depth knowledge defining pipelines and DevOps principles using common approaches and best practices for the CI/CD (Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Code Deploy).
  • Experience working with Salesforce as a developer or DevOps engineer
  • Experience with full development lifecycle and delivery using Agile.
  • Experience with monitoring and log analytics tools (Splunk, ElasticSearch, Kibana, AppDynamics, NewRelic, Prometheus)
  • Experience working as part of a SRE role providing incident management support and escalation.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, responds to Client needs quickly and effectively, able to change or adapt.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with previous experience in a client facing role.

  • Awareness of Cloud Landing Zone concepts and the pros/cons/constraints
