As a Quantitative Analysis Team Leader you will be coordinating, motivating and driving the work of a group of analysts and data scientists.
The Quantitative Analysis, Sports team is vital for designing, implementing and maintaining mathematical models to provide accurate pricing across the sports betting product of the Business.
You will work alongside individuals with a broad set of technical skills who are prepared to tackle significant challenges in technology and analytics. Your contributions will directly impact pricing strategies and enhance the Business in the market.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the company’s hybrid working from home policy.
The salary range for this position is between $125,000 to $150,000 annually.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications And Experience
- Degree in a mathematical or computer science based discipline.
- A keen interest in a wide range of sports and the online gambling industry.
- Commercial experience in software engineering or mathematical modelling.
- Commercial experience in a senior or lead role.
- Delivery and results focused.
- Effective communicator in both technical and non-technical areas.
- Excellent understanding of probability and statistics.
- Experience with technologies such as C#, Visual Basic, RStudio, Go, SQL, Excel and Jira Issue Management.
- Solid understanding of Windows and Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple streams of activity shifting focus regularly.

- Leading a capable, reactive and delivery focused team.
- Gaining and maintaining an in-depth understanding of work items, tracking progress and solution details.
- Instilling quality as a default requirement throughout all aspects of the team and process.
- Providing accurate estimates and identify potential risks or issues.
- Planning, tracking and reporting on the progress of work.
- Representing the team in cross-functional meetings and collaborative efforts.
- Ensuring processes are understood and followed, identifying any areas for improvement.
- Mentoring members of the team, ensuring distribution of knowledge and being available to team members to assist with any issues they may have.
- Providing input to appraisals and other performance feedback.
