Purpose of the role
To develop and manage the wholesale lending products and services, collaborating with, and ensuring service standards are complied with by, business partners across the bank, including investment bankers, credit analysts, risk managers, and operations professionals, to ensure that our products meet the needs of the bank's clients and are aligned with the bank's overall strategic objectives whilst ensuring all governance, control, regulatory and legal requirements are met.
Accountabilities
- Development and execution of product strategy for financial products and services offered within the wholesale division.
- Identification of investment opportunities and customer needs to create new products or enhance existing ones.
- Management of the entire product lifecycle, including product planning, development, launch, and ongoing management, including oversight of service levels.
- Analysis of market data to make informed decisions regarding product positioning and pricing.
- Assessment and management of risks associated with lending products and implement risk mitigation strategies, including the operation of and attendance to governance forums.
- Oversight of regulatory and technological change.
