Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Wise’s mission is to make money movement easier and cheaper for people and businesses, including sending money internationally, spending abroad, and receiving international payments. You will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world’s money.

We’re looking for a Product Lead to lead our Onboarding experiences at Wise. This role will oversee three teams: Consumer Onboarding, Account Setup, and Account Access & Recovery. You will ensure that every new customer—personal or business—can join Wise easily, securely, and with clarity on how to get value from our products. This is a high-impact leadership role working across product, engineering, design, analytics, compliance, operations and marketing to dramatically improve conversion, eliminate drop-offs, and build a world-class onboarding experience for all customers. You’ll report to the Onboarding & Scalable Growth Director and lead a team of PMs across the domain.

Responsibilities

  • Driving conversion for new personal customers: ensuring customers reach their first successful transaction quickly and with confidence
  • Eliminating drop-off across flows such as signup, KYC, profile creation, pricing understanding, and transaction creation
  • Owning the entire login, account recovery, and 2FA experience
  • Improving the UX across onboarding journeys, especially for complex or regulated flows
  • Balancing growth with security, compliance, and operational scalability

Opportunity and Leadership

  • Make global impact by shaping how millions experience Wise for the first time
  • Drive measurable outcomes: own core product metrics like conversion rate, onboarding contact ratio, and 2FA cost per user
  • Own the UX with strong collaboration with design and research to ship exceptional user journeys
  • Collaborate across the organization with compliance, security, operations and marketing
  • Build and lead a high-performing team and empower 3–4 PMs and their teams
  • Lead and inspire your team and other teams to contribute to the mission

Qualifications

  • You’ve led onboarding or core conversion experiences in a fast-growing tech company, ideally with regulated or complex flows (e.g., fintech, identity, compliance)
  • You’ve owned end-to-end metrics like conversion or retention and know how to move them
  • You’re a UX champion with a strong product sense and attention to detail
  • You’ve led senior product managers and built high-trust teams
  • You’re comfortable working across compliance, legal, ops, regional and marketing and can manage competing priorities
  • You’re data-driven and outcome-oriented and know how to define success and keep teams focused on impact
  • You can operate strategically while also getting hands-on when needed
  • You communicate clearly and logically and can influence across teams, including with internal and external partners
  • You are ready to lead, hire, and develop skills across the organization to unblock progress

We’re a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team with an international presence. We celebrate differences and strive to create a respectful and empowering environment for all employees.
