The Product Compliance Manager will support the Assets Product Compliance team in the UK, working closely with product teams to ensure regulatory compliance across investment products and help expand the Assets offering locally and globally.
Responsibilities
- Identify and interpret regulatory requirements, support product and operational teams to avoid breaches and incidents.
- Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to identify regulatory risks, gaps and upcoming regulations, present clear solutions and help execute mitigation actions.
- Translate regulatory needs into compliant product solutions, building new products/features in a customer‑oriented way.
- Perform regulatory analysis of new products/features and implement required controls before launch.
- Identify opportunities to improve product proposition by thoroughly analysing relevant regulations and challenging existing interpretations.
- Provide input on regulatory matters to third‑party relationships, ensuring compliance while representing a customer‑oriented culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in retail investments, fund management, broker‑dealer or capital markets.
- Deep working knowledge of UK securities regulations (COBS, MiFID, FSMA, CASS 6/7).
- Familiarity with evolving FCA expectations for investment firms.
Other Skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively and identify key areas of improvement and implementation from a regulatory point of view.
- Effective communication with Product Managers and Engineers, providing practical, actionable recommendations.
- Problem‑solving attitude, using regulation and data to drive business decisions.
- Strong ownership, delivering projects from inception to completion on time and with attention to detail.
- Legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
