As a Product Associate for Brokerage, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end‑to‑end product life cycle. Your role includes acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top‑tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate a clear product strategy that delivers meaningful value to customers and aligns with the firm’s broader objectives.
  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
  • Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  • Build the framework and track the product’s key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships across departments, including internal teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations and Investments) and external partners.
  • Define and manage a highly organised roadmap and supporting backlog to ensure your team delivers products that positively impact customers and the business.
  • Be passionate about the Product Development process, always striving to improve how products are built to ensure teams operate to their maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Balance business and technical objectives and translate these as clear priorities for the Engineering team.
  • Oversee product development, testing, and release management, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, planning meetings and retrospectives to drive transparency, accountability and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications, capabilities and Skills

  • Experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain within financial services or technology.
  • Proven track record of successfully building wealth management products, familiarity with brokerage and/or mutual funds end‑to‑end lifecycle.
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition and value management.
  • Experience working in the delivery of large, complex digital product initiatives with cross‑team dependencies.
  • Experience with software delivery best practices, working with technical product requirements and mapping of dependencies, design of minimum viable products and working with multi‑country requirements.
  • Ability to explain technical issues in a clear way to the business and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse and incorporate user needs, business needs and technical constraints/opportunities into the product development process.
  • Be the glue among departments and create shared understanding by translating ideas and concepts into technical or layman’s terms.

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, finance or a highly qualitative degree.
  • Track record of delivering successful products based on first‑principles design, working with data and customer feedback.
  • Demonstrated prior experience navigating and working in matrix and complex organizations, collaborating effectively across teams and functions.
