What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain IBM AIX and RHEL systems.
- Manage LPARs, VIO servers, and HMCs in IBM Power Systems.
- Optimize performance, handle upgrades, patching, and backups.
- Automate tasks using shell scripting and Ansible.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure compliance with security standards.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years AIX administration, 3+ years RHEL experience.
- Strong IBM Power Systems knowledge.
- Shell scripting (Korn, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Eligible for UK Government Security Clearance.
Nice to Have
- Python scripting, IBM AIX certification, RHCSA/RHCE.
- Experience with hybrid cloud, containers (Docker, Podman), and monitoring tools.
