The Partner Sales Manager is a quota‑carrying individual contributor role responsible for driving revenue growth by selling Comcast Business products and services through indirect/channel partners to the wider market. You will own a defined portfolio of channel partners (agents, sub‑agents, and master agents) and be accountable for enabling, motivating, and supporting those partners to effectively position and sell the Comcast Business Class portfolio to end customers. Success in this role requires strong sales execution, relationship building, and experience selling technology solutions, ideally within the telecommunications or communications services space.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive incremental monthly sales to meet or exceed budget targets through a portfolio of approximately 20–25 channel partners within an assigned market or region.
- Sell Comcast Business products to the broader market via indirect distribution channels, including master agents, sub‑agents, and direct partners.
- Build, manage, and grow strong long‑term relationships with channel partners to increase mindshare, engagement, and revenue contribution.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and support partners to effectively position and sell the full suite of Comcast Business Class solutions.
- Actively enable partners with product knowledge, sales tools, and go‑to‑market guidance to drive deal velocity and close rates.
- Serve as the primary liaison for channel partners on all sales‑related matters, including deal support, questions, and issue resolution.
- Ensure consistent and successful order fulfilment and product installation by partnering with regional teams across survey, order acceptance, construction, and post‑sale processes.
- Identify and recruit new direct partners and master/sub‑agent relationships to expand channel coverage and revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Sales Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to support partner‑led opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed pipeline management and weekly sales forecasts using Salesforce.com.
- Exercise independent judgement and discretion in managing partner relationships, sales opportunities, and territory priorities.
Required/Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience in a sales or revenue‑generating role, ideally within a channel or partner sales environment.
- Experience selling technology‑based products or services, preferably in telecommunications, connectivity, networking, cloud, or related communications sectors.
- Demonstrated success in relationship‑driven sales, managing multiple external partners or accounts.
- Experience working with or selling through agents, resellers, or indirect distribution models.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or revenue objectives.
- Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting, ideally Salesforce.
