You will play a key role in building custom applications, self-service portals, and workflow‑driven solutions that enhance Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM functionality ensuring design alignment with Fusion architecture, governance, and security standards.

This is a hands‑on role suited to an experienced Oracle Cloud developer who can lead extension workstreams, collaborate with functional, integration, and security teams, and deliver innovative low‑code solutions using Oracle’s Paa S platform.

  • Build responsive, role‑based user interfaces and workflows aligned with Oracle Redwood UX guidelines.
  • Implement Fusion REST API integrations for CRUD operations and data synchronisation with Oracle Saa S.
  • Develop solutions supporting transaction enrichment, approvals, and self‑service functionality.
  • Configure business rules, validations, and approval logic within custom components.
  • Ensure reusability and maintainability through component‑based design and modular architecture.
  • Data & Integration Layer
  • Integrate extensions with Fusion Saa S using REST APIs, OIC services, FBDI/HDL, and BICC extracts where required.
  • Configure secure connectivity (OAuth2, certificates, SFTP) and handle authentication through OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Support backend automation using PL/SQL, Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), and Server‑Side Logic (SSL).
  • Collaborate with data migration and reporting teams to ensure data consistency and auditability across environments.
  • Governance, Security & Quality
  • Ensure all extensions adhere to Oracle Paa S governance, naming, and deployment standards.
  • Design solutions that align with Fusion Application Security (Roles, HCM Data Roles, Duty Roles) and data segregation principles.
  • Conduct code reviews, peer validations, and maintain configuration control through Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and Git.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and performance testing phases; troubleshoot and optimise custom components for scalability.
  • Document technical designs, configuration guides, and release notes in line with project quality processes.
  • Innovation & Enablement
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/automation, APEX plug‑ins, or VBCS accelerators to improve user experience and delivery efficiency.
  • Contribute to R&D and internal capability‑building on low‑code / no‑code development within OCI.
  • Mentor junior developers and guide offshore delivery teams in best practices for VBCS/APEX and Fusion extensions.

Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle APEX on ATP/ADW or DBCS, including backend logic using PL/SQL and ORDS.
