As a pharmacist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care - it's listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance to deliver healthcare services. This is an exciting opportunity during a period of transformation to join a new team providing services to customers and patients across England in the growing Customer Support Centre. This role would require full time working at our Nottingham Support Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering New Medicines Service (NMS) conversations in line with the service specification, with the potential to expand to other services.
- Deliver quality patient consultation via digital/virtual routes (e.g. telephone, video calls).
- Deep understanding of NMS, including drugs/conditions eligibility, always acting in the best interests of the patient, and makes consultation records to a high standard.
- Efficiently achieve business ambitions and goals, to support the call centre performance.
- Uses IT skills appropriate to role e.g. able to navigate Columbus efficiently or other activity involving digital systems.
- Takes responsibility to keep practice up to date and continually learns to improve practice.
- Delivering exceptional patient care to support a positive customer experience.
What You'll Need To Have (our Must-haves)
- Pharmacist registered with the GPhC/PSNI/PSI with high personal credibility.
- Maintains a CPD portfolio and meets revalidation criteria.
- Role model for patient-centred care and consultation skills.
- Effective communication skills, including: Verbal communication over the phone and written.
- Confident in building professional networks with key stakeholders.
- Problem solving capability and be able to respond to unknown or unusual scenarios/queries.
