Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Management Accountant to work as part of the Gamma Business finance team in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
What will you be doing day‑to‑day?
- Revenue reconciliation & analysis
- IFRS 15 accounting adjustments
- Management of credit note provisions
- Cost of Sales analysis
- Monthly accruals reconciliations
- Reconciliation to revenue & margin report
- Working with the billing team to analyse costs on an ongoing basis
- Understanding the Gamma products to review costs at this level
- Stock reconciliation – working with the procurement team to reconcile stock holdings at various sites & attending stock counts
- Accounting for leases under IFRS 16
- Capex analysis & forecasting
- Preparation of month‑end journals for accruals & prepayments
- Reconciliation of Contract Assets & Liabilities
- Intercompany reconciliations & eliminations
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant with a solid understanding of core financial processes
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft D365
- SQL experience preferable
- Strong time management and task prioritisation skills to meet deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both finance and non‑finance
- Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Hands‑on approach to day‑to‑day accounting activities
- Qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience of UK GAAP and IFRS
