- Hands-On Testing – design and execute tests across front and backend, automated and manual
- Bug tracking and triage – experience with bug tracking software, e.g. Jira, Bugzilla, Redmine
- Quality advocacy – involvement throughout the development process, ensuring a solution that fits and aligning to internal best practices and standards
- Practical API testing experience – either Restful or GraphQL APIs, JSON HTTP requests, response codes, headers and API design
- Automated testing – proficiency with a language, e.g. TypeScript, Ruby, Python; to follow and contribute to automated tests
- Agile methodology – experience with Scrum or Kanban and software development cycle delivering iterative value
- Effective communication – strong written and communication skills for clear collaboration with development team members and business stakeholders
- CI/CD proficiency – knowledge of test automation best practices in CI/CD and tools such as Github Actions
- Self-sufficient – able to operate independently in a cross-functional team without micromanagement, in a milestone delivery environment
- AWS experience – understanding of the AWS ecosystem and its core services, or other cloud services
- Database exposure – familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, or search indexes such as Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with frontend technology – experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and related frameworks
