Main purpose of the role & responsibilities in the business:
As a Lead Platform Engineer (Consultant) in Kainos, youll be responsible for leading teams to design, automate, build, manage and optimise modern digital service platforms. Its a fast-paced environment and youll be trusted to make sound, reasoned decisions. Youll do this whilst learning about new technologies and approaches, with colleagues that will help you to learn, develop and grow. As the technical leader in the team, you will also interact with customers, share knowledge and mentor those around you.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a team - Youll work alongside colleagues in engineering, testing, consulting, product management and security capabilities to build, test and deploy software of the highest quality; including the operation and continuous improvement of underlying platform services.
