Role Overview
Product Owner for the newly built client platform, Global Clearing, based in London.
Discipline Focus
- Data Product – Expertise in data and analytics
- Digital Product – Expertise in digital platforms (web, mobile, etc)
- Technical Product – Expertise in technical platforms & market infrastructure
- Financial Product – Expertise in clearing and settlement with investment banking
- Experience/Service – Expertise in client journeys, channels, services
Key Responsibilities
- Defining and prioritising product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and working closely with the development team to ensure the successful delivery of the product.
- Managing the product backlog and near-term roadmap, ensuring it is properly refined, prioritized and groomed.
- Owning user stories, refinement process and stakeholder management (ongoing collaboration and updates).
- Writing specifications for minor features and contributing meaningfully to specifications for major features.
- Negotiating the implementation of current work, making the right trade‐off decisions to launch products in a high‐quality manner, escalating to management as necessary.
- Identifying and triaging issues with specific features, understanding how multiple features are interrelated and catching more complex problems.
- Defining proper measurement and instrumentation for a product to analyse results post‐release/launch.
- Partnering with the manager to recommend the right next steps for a feature.
- Assessing the quality of existing UX to recommend improvements to the user experience.
