Skills and Competencies
At least 10 years of experience in the insurance industry with a strong focus on public policy, regulation, or regulatory affairs; experience in catastrophe risk management is preferred
Demonstrated experience working within a regulated entity, supporting regulated products, or engaging with government, political, or regulatory stakeholders
Strong understanding of insurance regulation across property and casualty, life, liability, and reinsurance markets, with the ability to assess business impacts of policy developments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead complex analytical projects, draft regulatory submissions, and influence senior stakeholders
Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with regulators, industry associations, multilateral organizations, and other external stakeholders
Highly adaptable self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Experience collaborating across legal, compliance, risk, communications, and business teams within a global matrixed organization
