We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President, Credit Risk Management - Institutional Client Group (ICG)

In this role youll:
Manage and monitor credit risks across a portfolio of traditional Hedge Funds and alternative funds
Recommend appropriate credit limits, structures and risk mitigants within delegated authorities
Support Sales, Trading and Relationship Management teams in delivering profitable, sustainable and well-controlled credit business
Provide expert guidance on fund, geographic, sector and counterparty risks, including during client onboarding
Work closely with WMR, Legal, Collateral Management and other internal stakeholders to resolve credit and documentation matters
Maintain accurate risk information, databases and approvals, ensuring compliance with HSBC policies and control standards
Identify opportunities to improve credit processes, approval turnaround times and business flows
Support audit, regulatory and operational risk requirements, including ad-hoc funds-related projects
To be successful in this role youll meet the following requirements:
Able to evidence in-depth knowledge about the structures and operations of Hedge Funds and Institutional investment firms
