Our values are Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and Family. These values guide our actions and culture and inform how we work together.

Our co-founders are Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor.

Bret currently serves as Board Chair of Open AI.

Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook.

Bret was also one of Google\'s earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps.

Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he led Google Labs and previously led Google\'s AR/VR efforts, including Project Starline and Google Lens.

Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Design and deliver production-grade AI agents: build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central to Sierra's growth.

These are scalable systems running in production across industries like finance, healthcare, and commerce.

  • Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): own the process from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.

Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in production, defining ADLC best practices.

  • Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: work with leaders at major enterprises to understand business challenges and build AI agents that operate at scale, and embed AI agents across startups\' stacks to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Build the future of the platform: collaborate with customers to guide Sierra\'s core platform, surface unmet needs, prototype tools and features, and shape the future of AI agent development.
  • Example projects
  • Design and build AI agents for large telecommunications and media companies that outperform human agents in managing subscription churn
  • Develop AI agents capable of navigating complex customer interactions, such as troubleshooting devices and personalizing product recommendations
  • Create generalizable AI agent frameworks tailored for industry-specific use cases
  • Facilitate design partnerships for new product initiatives, including new agent architectures and self-service capabilities

Even better...

  • Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
  • Have been a founder or founding engineer; you know what it means to balance craft, ownership, and speed
