Responsibilities

You will define how the new investment offerings work from the ground up—shaping the product, the technical foundations, and every detail that makes it real.

Qualifications

  • Strong product mindset and passion for user experience, prioritising customers and making data-driven decisions to fix pain-points
  • Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player; will frequently involve cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value
  • Ability to coordinate complex projects across different teams
  • Experience developing web applications and distributed systems in a production environment
  • Experience with common design and architectural patterns and a passion for writing clean, performant, well-tested code
  • Curiosity and drive for continuous learning and improvement
  • Advocating best coding practices, continuous delivery, and code reviews
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation, and schema design (plus)
  • Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, and experience with a messaging system such as Kafka (plus)
