The core mission of the Onboarding team is to drive the growth of Wise by making our customers' first experience sending, receiving, and spending money as convenient and transparent as possible, across web and mobile.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Onboarding team in finding and iterating on opportunities to grow Wise faster, bringing more customers to the revolution.
  • Directly contribute to our mission to make money without borders the new normal by figuring out and building solutions so that our customers can move money instantly, conveniently, transparently, and eventually, for free.
  • Create a compelling vision for your product area and draw a clear path to get there, inspiring your team and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Designers, Researchers, Developers, and Analysts to enable the team to make informed, data-driven decisions and execute to the highest standards.

  • Driving Customer Conversion: Success is currently measured by tracking and improving the conversion rates of new customers globally across all our products.
  • Building World-Class Products: You will iterate on any aspect of our products across platforms without ever compromising on transparency or user experience.
  • Choosing Your Path: You will be empowered to act autonomously, working with your team to create your own vision and making key product calls with the freedom to gather feedback from smart, curious people across Wise.
  • Growing as a Leader: You will build and inspire your own team, and influence other teams, to contribute to the Wise mission.
  • Being a True Lead: You will not stick to a "by the book" product manager role definition; you will help your team with hiring, learning new skills to unblock things where needed, and getting things done.
Qualifications
  • Vision & Alignment: Able to get the team to dream big, align on a commonly agreed vision, and articulate a clear path to execution.
  • Customer-Focus: Proven experience working on a product with thousands or millions of customers, including running surveys, research, and interviews, and defining the customer impact of product investments.
  • Cross-Platform Delivery: A track record of delivering excellent user experience on web, iOS, and Android, with a strong sense of UX and strict attention to UI details.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Highly capable of diving into data to identify opportunities, measure impact, prioritize value for customers, and influence the company by telling compelling stories with data.
  • Technical Fluency: A good technical understanding that enables you to help your team prioritize technological investments, technical debt reduction, bugs, and new features.
  • Clear Communication: Able to effectively frame problems to influence across the team and communicate clearly and logically with internal and external partners on challenging issues.
  • Design skills are a bonus.
