Your mission is to uplift our process management capabilities and transform our current operational landscape into a more efficient, robust, and scalable system. You will ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and enhance our ability to detect and prevent financial crime. The role will leverage Process Management methodologies, process automation, and change management to drive significant improvements across the organisation.

Your Mission

  • Global Process Mapping and Optimisation: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing "as-is" operational processes at Wise. This will involve detailed process mapping, identification of bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Design and develop optimized "to-be" processes, focusing on creating a streamlined, standardised and globally consistent approach.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with controls, compliance and efficiency experts to drive improvements.
  • Strategic Impact: Align with product and engineering teams on the biggest opportunities and prioritise them.
  • Data-Driven Success: Define what success looks like for your processes and evaluate progress using qualitative and quantitative methods to demonstrate impact.
  • Operational Control Mapping and Assurance: Map all existing operational Level 1 controls into the new process design, ensuring full coverage and alignment with regulatory expectations. Develop and implement a robust process for evidencing the effective operation of these controls, including KPIs, monitoring mechanisms and clear documentation for audit and regulatory scrutiny.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in process management or building products at scale with a deep understanding of organisational complexity.
  • A proven track record of mapping complex processes across large organisations.
  • Skilled in creating high-quality and practical process maps, breaking down sub processes, mapping dependencies and identifying the critical path to success.
  • A great eye for detail and a thorough approach to solutions.
  • Data-driven mindset: skilled at gathering and interpreting data to identify opportunities, measure impact and tell compelling stories that inspire action.
  • Problem solver with strong decision-making skills, challenging the status quo and formulating actionable plans.
  • Autonomous operator, capable of resolving challenges and making impactful decisions independently.
  • Experience working within fintech or financial institutions.
