Millions of people already trust us to send, receive, and hold money globally. The Spend squad is directly contributing to Wise’s mission by providing customers with a reliable, convenient, and eventually free way to spend anywhere in the world.
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own how we position the Wise card and spending experience globally. As the first PMM for the Spend squad, you will be the bridge between our product capabilities and people who use them, ensuring that the Wise card is the first choice for spending anywhere in the world.
Your role and impact:
- As part of the Spend product team, you’ll own the global positioning of the Wise card, ensuring we don't just win new users, but turn them into lifelong cross‑border and daily spenders.
- You’ll sit at the intersection of product, data, and storytelling to define what spending means in a borderless world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth charge: Define the global positioning for the Wise card, driving both customer acquisition and high‑frequency usage.
- Shift the perception of Wise from a utility you use occasionally to the card you never leave home without.
- Strategic partnerships: Collaborate directly with Mastercard and Visa to co‑create high‑impact activations and acquisition campaigns centered around major global events.
- Translate complexity into delight: Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to turn our delightful features into clear, compelling value propositions that resonate across 170+ countries.
- Be the voice of the customer: Keep your finger on the pulse of how customers perceive us. Listen to customer feedback, monitor competitive moves, and translate insights into clear positioning frameworks.
- Bridge global and local: Partner with global and regional marketing teams to build awareness and conversion campaigns that resonate in core markets, ensuring customers understand why Wise is the smartest way to spend whether they are at home or abroad.
Qualifications:
- Strong positioning experience: Built or refined product narratives that differentiated a brand or product in a competitive space.
- Data‑informed decision making: Use customer insights, research, and performance data to shape messaging and evaluate success.
- Global mindset: Understand localisation, customer segmentation, and balance global consistency with local relevance.
- Collaborative leadership: Work across product, engineering, marketing, and regional teams, bringing alignment without losing speed.
Benefits:
- The chance to own Wise’s card global positioning for millions of customers.
- Autonomy to set the product marketing strategy for Spend, with the support of a talented team.
- A competitive compensation package, including RSUs.
- A hybrid working model, allowing a blend of home and office work.
- A generous self‑development budget and comprehensive benefits package.
- The chance to work in a diverse, inclusive, and innovative environment.
