Product Manager – RM+ Framework Team (12‐month contract)

Contract Type: 12‐Month Fixed Term for Maternity Leave Cover

Location: London Soho Square – Hybrid (2 days a week in office)

Department: Customer – Rightmove+ Framework

Reports to: Head of Product

Role Overview

The Product Development team delivers the overall consumer and customer digital experience underpinning the Rightmove business. The Product Manager sits within the Product Team and is responsible for helping to shape and deliver the Product strategy that underpins the professional platform used by Rightmove Customers, Rightmove Plus. This includes collaborating with other product teams that develop in Rightmove Plus, delivering on the team's roadmap, and working closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Architecture and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Product to shape the strategic direction, vision and objectives for Rightmove Plus based on analysis and insights.
  • Maintain a backlog of improvements, prioritising them alongside wider domain and product priorities.
  • Own and monitor the products and functionality, defining objectives and KPIs.
  • Create and validate business cases for initiatives, outlining opportunity, cost and benefit.
  • Contribute proactively to initiatives that improve customer or consumer experience.
  • Initiate and undertake analysis to highlight impacts on systems or business processes.
  • Lead experience discovery, working with Product Designers and Researchers to define approaches.
  • Collaborate with UX specialists and visual designers to re‐work existing experiences and create new ones.
  • Understand customer motivations and stay up‐to‐date with industry insights.
  • Generate innovative ideas and encourage team collaboration.
  • Work with engineers and technical architects to understand technology constraints and options.
  • Define requirements and deliver solutions across product initiatives.

  • Lead product discovery and own end‐to‐end delivery of software products in a technology‐led company.
  • Deliver products with an autonomous delivery team and make data‐driven decisions.
  • Passionate about delivering quality software to end users.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask.

  • Deep understanding of commercial and operational processes.
