About The Role
As a Principal/Consulting SRE, you will lead complex reliability initiatives and drive reduction of operational toil across our systems. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, collaborating with product and development teams to enhance reliability, performance, and engineering best practices. You will also mentor other engineers and help shape technical strategy and architectural standards.

You’ll join a highly skilled group of SRE professionals dedicated to building resilient, scalable, and efficient systems. The team partners closely with development and product engineering groups to support shared learning and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams to promote reliability-focused design, development, and deployment practices.
- Lead reviews to ensure alignment with architectural and enterprise standards.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient code solutions.
- Guide system and user acceptance testing to deliver robust and reliable services.
- Serve as a primary technical contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and support engineers at all levels, fostering an inclusive learning culture.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical planning.
- Provide guidance and solutions during system incidents or outages.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of the following: .NET, C#, Python, PySpark, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Argo CD.
- Ability to quickly adapt to evolving responsibilities and technologies.
- Strong experience with Agile, Waterfall, or other SDLC methodologies.
- Expertise in data modeling, data design, performance tuning, and best practices.
- Solid understanding of modern architectural principles and industry technology trends.
- Experience applying test‑driven development practices.
- Deep familiarity with a range of data storage technologies.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives and collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
- Proficiency with common engineering toolsets and development platforms.
