About The Team: Reporting directly into the Head of People Business Partnering, you will join a People & Culture team that is structured as a truly integrated partnership model. You’ll be the go‑to person for specific business functions, working alongside Directors and managers who value people‑first thinking.
The Impact You’ll Have: As a People Business Partner at loveholidays, you aren’t just following a playbook; you’re helping us write it. - Nurturing talent and future leaders – in collaboration with our Talent CoE, you’ll lead the charge on succession planning and talent mapping. You’ll help identify our future trailblazers and ensure our leaders and managers have the right development plans in place for their teams to keep them growing with us.
- Driving a culture of high performance – you will steer the performance rhythm within your functions, shifting the focus toward continuous feedback and ensuring our people’s goals are directly aligned with our commercial targets.
- Turning data into narratives – using our people metrics from engagement scores to turnover trends, you will identify the "why" behind the numbers. You won’t just report data; you’ll use it to propose proactive solutions that improve the employee experience.
- Navigating change and growth – as we continue to evolve, you’ll guide your teams through organisational design changes and workforce planning. You’ll ensure transitions are smooth, communications are clear, and our people feel supported through every pivot.
Your Skillset:
- A proven track record in strategic partnership: You already have experience in a Business Partnering or Generalist role, ideally within a high‑growth tech, travel, or digital consumer business.
- Significant Employee Relations experience: You’ve managed cases and supported managers across a variety of ER situations.
- A focus on Organisational Design: You have experience working with senior leaders on optimising organisational structures.
- Commercial curiosity: You enjoy learning how the business works and understand the links between a great people strategy and a successful P&L.
- The ability to influence: You’re comfortable navigating a matrixed environment and can hold your own in a room with senior leaders, using your expertise to guide their decision‑making.
- A "people‑first" lens: You are a natural relationship‑builder who gains trust through authenticity, transparency, and high‑quality delivery.
- Problem‑solving agility: You don't need a rigid manual to succeed. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can find creative solutions to complex people challenges.
- Data Savvy: You’re adept at analysing data and presenting insights, helping leaders and managers to make data‑informed decisions.
- AI Confident: You have already embraced AI and enjoy exploring the opportunities to leverage AI tools to simplify and automate people processes.
