Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high‑quality Oracle Payroll and HCM deployment projects as an Engagement Manager.
- Provide specialist Oracle advice and work closely with client leads to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of Oracle.
- Advise clients on the transformational aspects of Oracle in relation to HR operating model, self‑service, service delivery, portal, virtual agent and relevant HR processes such as onboarding, absence management, payroll, offboarding, etc.
- Contribute to business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal and contract/commercial negotiations with Oracle clients.
- Lead the growth of the Powered HR practice through knowledge sharing, developing thought leadership and supporting career aspirations of team members.
- Advise on technical integration of Oracle with third‑party applications such as payroll, benefits and finance systems.
- Advise on data migration and data integrity as part of the deployment engagement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Powered HR and other teams to maximise the offering to clients.
- Serve as a role model, demonstrating KPMG’s values and principles, leading by example.
- Assist with goal development and coaching of staff to support the growth of the junior management team.
Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering Oracle Payroll and HCM programmes.
- Advanced functional understanding of Oracle product.
- Experience leading transformation projects in payroll and HR, managing workstreams and teams.
- Demonstrable knowledge of payroll and HR processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with another HCM cloud product (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors) is desirable.
- Comfortable with both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Strong documentation, reporting and presentation abilities.
- Well‑developed analytical skills and the ability to synthesise complex information.
- Experience in a functional or technical role in a business or systems delivery environment, preferably in the HR sector.
- Experience producing project deliverables such as business requirements, functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, use cases and traceability matrices.
- Ability to adapt the approach based on the situation.
- Capability to learn technology quickly through instruction and experience.
- Proven collaboration and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong functional knowledge of HR, recruitment (including onboarding), payroll, time tracking or case management applications is an advantage.
- Experience as a configuration expert and/or project manager of enterprise software deployments.
- Commercial acumen, enthusiasm for learning and development, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
- Degree‑level education.
- Oracle certifications (desirable).
- ServiceNow or Workday certification (desirable).
