At Kingfisher, we're transforming how home improvement marketplaces support sellers across Europe. As Marketplace Seller Ecosystem & Partnerships Lead, you will define and deliver the strategy that helps marketplace sellers grow across our banners. Working closely with teams in the UK, France, Iberia and Poland, you will build a scalable ecosystem of tools, services and strategic partnerships that enhance seller performance, improve the seller experience and unlock new growth opportunities. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and strategic thinking to balance group-wide priorities with local market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the group seller ecosystem strategy, covering seller tools, shared services and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities to improve seller growth, performance and engagement through new capabilities and value-added services.
  • Partner with banner teams across multiple markets to understand requirements, align priorities and ensure successful delivery.
  • Build, launch and scale growth-enabling solutions, including cross-border services, analytics capabilities, financial products and marketing solutions.
  • Source, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships that strengthen marketplace capabilities and seller outcomes.
  • Define and evolve monetisation models for seller services, including pricing structures, commissions and partner-led revenue streams.
  • Manage the ecosystem roadmap, milestones and performance reporting, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and generate measurable impact.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across Kingfisher to drive alignment, decision-making and successful execution.

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Experience within marketplaces, e-commerce, seller growth, partnerships, platform strategy or a related field.
  • Strong commercial and partnership management capabilities, including supplier and stakeholder negotiation.
  • Understanding of seller economics, monetisation models and marketplace growth drivers.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams and markets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align diverse priorities.
  • Strong analytical mindset, using data and insights to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to build and scale new capabilities.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within marketplace ecosystems, platform partnerships or marketplace growth functions.
  • Experience operating in international and multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Experience delivering cross-border or multi-market programmes.
  • Additional language skills, including French, Spanish or Polish.
