This role produces timely and accurate gold copy investment data in assigned data domain focusing on operational efficiency and output quality. It executes and analyzes complex data exception reports and quality control queries, collaborating across teams to enhance operational processes. Manage static and dynamic data through cleansing, processing, and audit activities ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability in internal systems and third-party sources.
Core Responsibilities
- Produce timely and accurate gold copy investment data, manage competing priorities, analyze multiple inputs to meet objectives, research and analyze data exceptions with internal/external suppliers, maintain controls to ensure data integrity and approved distribution.
- Execute and analyze daily and periodical data reporting and quality control queries accurately, provide troubleshooting, ensure data feeds loaded accurately, meet service levels, and provide ongoing reporting for regulatory bodies and internal partners.
- Recognize improvement opportunities, recommend and implement solutions, perform root cause analysis and provide short- and long-term solutions, escalation as needed.
- Build strong network within Data Management community, share knowledge, engage collaboratively across teams to improve global processes.
- Develop strong knowledge of assigned funds and securities, understand operational impacts, leverage product knowledge for gold copy data production.
- Support projects through acceptance/regression testing, system monitoring, other project activities; use business knowledge to create test cases and monitoring reports for data accuracy and completeness.
- Create, maintain, and improve Data Management procedures and workflows, identify and elevate control gaps, adhere to control standards for compliance.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Manage static and dynamic data including client account attributes, asset descriptive information, and security setup in databases.
- Coordinate maintenance of contracts, agreements, and relationships with third-party data vendors for accurate feeds.
- Undertake control and audit tasks, ensuring centralized, consistent data collection and distribution across systems.
- Gather, validate, and input critical financial data while adhering to established standards and guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial data operations or investment data management; extensive knowledge of fund data, processes, and lifecycle.
- Experience in SQL, Python and cloud solutions such as AWS.
- Experience with data vendor/platforms preferred.
- Strong skills in data quality assurance, root cause analysis, data feed monitoring, investment product knowledge, control/audit compliance, and collaboration with stakeholders.
- German speaking skills highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Finance, Economics) or equivalent; Master’s degree or Diploma also acceptable.
