Objectives
This role will be the key IT partner for the Luxembourg Treasury, Strategic Transactions Group and Principal Investment businesses at Barclays with direct ownership of Front Office booking systems for this business and as the primary liaison for broader IT engagement. These businesses have an ambitious 2-year plan to modernise and simplify their booking and cash management processes, eliminating approximate bookings and strengthening controls. This role will be accountable for the IT delivery supporting these objectives. The individual will directly manage a globally distributed application development team of around 10 individuals who will be responsible for all aspects of analysis and integration of the Front Office booking systems with front-to-back applications, ongoing maintenance and enhancements and level 3 support escalation. This role is expected to implement high architectural standards and partner with the business to deliver a longer 3-to-5-year plan.
