The team youll work with:
The Head of Transactional Credit is a leadership role reporting to the Head of Growth & Financing. The role is responsible and accountable for leading the Transactional Credit Team (TCT) to ensure timely, accurate and well-controlled execution of client transactional credit requests, ensuring strong risk discipline and adherence to policy and process. In parallel, the role alsoowns the delivery and management of our Associate Development Programme (ADP), including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, rotation allocation and day-to-day oversight of Associate cohorts to build a strong, diverse talent pipeline aligned to business needs.
The value youll add:
The role holder will work closely with Relationship Management teams, Debt Finance, and Credit Risk partners to ensure client needs are met efficiently through TCT and ADP while maintaining HSBCs risk culture and conduct expectations. A typical day may include prioritising and reviewing live client limit requests, removing execution blockers, coaching team members, aligning on risk and credit requirements with partners, planning Associate rotations with business heads, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality ADP experience across the programme.
