The Impact You’ll Have
Reporting initially to the Head of Finance Center of Excellence (COE) you will bridge the gap between core financial operations and the future of automated finance. This is a pivotal, individual contributor role where you will start by mastering our supplier reconciliation and dispute resolution processes, using those insights to lead a transformational, AI‑enabled redesign of how we work. Your medium‑term goal is to automate the operational elements of your own role, shifting your focus toward reviewing and refining group‑wide processes to significantly increase team capacity. You will act as a subject‑matter expert in finance automation, influencing how the COE functions.
Your Day‑to‑day Operational Excellence
- Inbox Management: Support the management for the supplier inbox, ensuring all communications are handled professionally and timely.
- Statement Reconciliations: Meticulously perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements to ensure internal records are accurate and up to date.
- Supplier Liaison & dispute resolution: Work directly with external suppliers to manage and resolve queries and build strong professional relationships.
- Reporting: Support with the preparation of KPI reports.
Transformation & AI Integration
- Process Redesign: Critically evaluate the end‑to‑end reconciliation workflow to identify manual bottlenecks and design streamlined, scalable alternatives.
- AI & Automation Implementation: Actively explore and deploy AI‑enabled tools to automate repetitive operational tasks and data entry.
- Capacity Optimization: Continuously review existing COE workflows to identify efficiency gains through AI and Automation, allowing the team to scale without increasing manual effort.
- Data‑led decisions: Perform data driven diagnostics of operational performance to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in workflows.
