Due to the continued and rapid growth of Wise, we are looking for an experienced Finance professional to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in London. You will be a key part of the team that helps guide our fast-growing business. In this role, you will collaborate with our Finance Business Partnering team to support Marketing teams with budget management and performance optimisation. You will use data to build a clear story around our results, manage communications, and report to various stakeholders to ensure our growth remains sustainable.

Here’s how you’ll contribute to Wise’s mission:

  • Lead the Marketing re-forecasting processes, building accurate projections for growth metrics and operating costs.
  • Improve existing financial models and reports to broaden and deepen actionable insights, helping Marketing make informed investment decisions.
  • Review key marketing metrics, such as ROI and CPA, to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Provide deep dives on key business and financial metrics, focusing on actuals-to-forecast variance comparisons to drive accuracy, clear decision making, and strategy development.
  • Partner with Department leads to help them understand their performance and cost base, acting as a trusted advisor to assist them with critical decision making.

This Role Will Give You The Opportunity To:

  • Choose your path to impact: We believe people are most empowered when they have autonomy. You will have a high level of responsibility and the freedom to shape financial strategy to optimize growth investment and cost management.
  • Play a crucial role: Use data to directly influence how Wise grows sustainably, working alongside collaborative, curious people who value your insights.
  • Learn and grow: There is a lot to be done! In our expanding business, you will have regular opportunities to broaden your expertise and develop your career.
  • Be flexible in how you work: We understand everyone needs different setups to thrive, so we do our best to support flexible working arrangements, including opportunities to collaborate across multiple offices and time zones.

Qualifications:

  • Proven financial experience directly supporting a marketing function and partnering closely with department leads and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Marketing Investment principles, with a track record of evaluating efficiency and effectiveness to drive business growth.
  • Experience building financial models and owning end to end cost analysis.
  • Experience implementing cost controls and monitoring ongoing spend to help an organisation operate smoothly.
  • Analytical and technical proficiency, with comfort navigating Business Intelligence (BI) tools and extracting data via SQL for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to simplify complex data, articulate a clear narrative, and align a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, balancing high-level strategy with a hands‑on approach to day‑to‑day tasks.
  • Resilience and professional adaptability, comfortable navigating ambiguous situations while remaining organised to meet defined timelines.

Bonus Points For:

  • Working knowledge of Anaplan, Workday, or Looker.

Salary band: 50K - 68K. We’re people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.
