The Role
We are seeking a motivated DevOps Lead to join our Engineering team and own the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our processes and platforms that enable seamless and reliable delivery of production code. You will be managing a team of three DevOps Engineers, and partner closely with the wider engineering division to ensure our build pipeline meets their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain overall CI/CD pipelines, improving their efficiency and speed.
- Develop clear knowledge and understanding of TH’s developer workflow within all teams and how they interact to provide guidance and solutions across all projects.
- Identify underlying structural issues, leveraging knowledge and experience to deliver actionable solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of our Atlassian suite of products e.g. JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence.
- Scope to continuously suggest, test and execute new ideas into production.
- Set clear team and individual objectives aligned to business goals.
- Keep production functioning and stable to ensure customer SLAs are met.
Requirements
- Expert in designing and building reliable and scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record managing and improving DevOps estates within SaaS, exhibiting best development practices and robust design principles.
- Extensive experience with source code management systems such as Bitbucket, Gitlab or GitHub.
- Detailed knowledge of TeamCity or similar.
- Experience leading transformation projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Good knowledge of cloud technologies e.g. AWS.
- Previous experience leading high performing teams.
- Industry programming experience with C#, Java or C++ desirable.
