QBE Europe is recruiting a Data & AI Risk Analyst to join the EO Data & AI function. The role plays a critical part in ensuring that data and AI risks are identified, assessed and managed effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support identification, assessment and tracking of data and AI risks across EO.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance and risk frameworks.
  • Support the design and monitoring of data controls and control effectiveness.
  • Assist in delivering risk and control assessments and regulatory activities.
  • Work with stakeholders to remediate data quality and control issues.
  • Support reporting of risk, governance and control metrics.
  • Assist with audit and regulatory responses, including evidence gathering.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements relating to data and AI.
  • Support the development of training, education and communications materials to improve understanding of data and AI governance requirements across EO.
  • Support continuous improvement of governance and compliance processes.
  • Support the implementation of the AI Policy and Standard, including development and maintenance of the AI Register.

Qualifications

  • Experience in risk, governance or compliance roles within data or technology environments.
  • Understanding of risk management and control frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Structured approach to documentation and reporting.
  • Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Right to work in the UK; sponsorship may be considered at discretion.
