This is a pivotal role within our Corporate Communications team, part of the wider Corporate Affairs function. You'll help shape and protect Kingfisher's external reputation as we deliver our 'Powered by Kingfisher' strategy, using earned media, speaking opportunities, and engaging digital channels to connect with our audiences. You'll lead strategic campaigns, deliver key financial communications, and ensure a clear, consistent company narrative while proactively managing reputational risk.
- Lead the delivery of impactful communications campaigns across earned media, social media and digital channels.
- Find creative and compelling ways to communicate the 'Powered by Kingfisher' strategic story, build our employer brand and support our Responsible Business agenda.
- Deliver best-in‐class financial communications activity around our key financial milestones, including drafting materials and advising key senior stakeholders alongside the Head of External Communications.
- Play a key role in overseeing the Kingfisher press office, managing media enquiries and building relationships with key journalists.
- Design and deliver a conference speaking programme for key Kingfisher spokespeople, briefing and advising them to maximise impact.
- Lead the process for the External Communications team around the Kingfisher Annual Report, support the drafting of relevant sections of the Strategic Report.
- Support communications plans and positioning for the Group Executive and leadership team, including the CEO.
- Support the network of external communications teams of our banners from across the Group and identify opportunities for collaboration and sharing best practice.
- Develop issues management strategies including reactive statements and identify emerging reputational risks.
- Operate as a business partner providing counsel and support on PR and corporate social media to key business functions (e.g. Tech and Data, Offer & Sourcing, People).
