Summary Of The Position
A Cyber Security Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth in the United Kingdom (UK) region by identifying, qualifying, and closing business opportunities for cybersecurity software, hardware, and managed services. This role requires a unique blend of consultative selling skills and a strong baseline understanding of digital risk, compliance, and threat mitigation.
Main Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation: Identify and prospect new B2B customers via outreach, industry networking, and collaborative marketing campaigns.
- Consultative Discovery: Engage with senior decision‑makers (CISOs, CIOs, and IT Directors) to uncover their specific business risks, infrastructure gaps, and compliance regulations.
- Solution Mapping: Align the company's cybersecurity portfolio—such as Managed Detection and Response (MDR), EDR, zero‑trust architectures, and identity management, security consulting—to customer needs.
- Deal Management: Lead complex sales cycles from initial presentation and technical demonstrations through to contract negotiation and closure.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal pre‑sales engineers and technical teams to author detailed RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses.
- Vendor & Partner Alignment: Maintain deep relationships with strategic security vendors to leverage channel partner programs and stay ahead of emerging technology roadmaps.
- Cross‑functional cooperation: Close cooperation with UK Client Executive Partners (CEPs), Business Developers (BDs), Account Sales Executives (ASEs) as well as with Consulting, Pre‑Sales, Alliances and Partners to drive cross‑selling and upselling initiatives in existing ATOS accounts.

- Annual Order Entry of GBP 6Mil – 10Mil based on level and experience
- Qualified pipeline and close rate
- Share of cross‑selling and upselling in the portfolio

Requirements
- Completed studies (e.g. cyber security, computer science) or comparable qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant sales experience in the field of complex cyber security solutions and services
- Demonstrable success in establishing and expanding customer relationships
- In‑depth market and industry knowledge as well as a resilient network in the target markets
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills at management and decision‑making level
- High degree of initiative, goal orientation and strong finishing skills
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as entrepreneurial action
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
