Within Global Operations, the Business Resilience Manager sits at the centre of how British Airways prepares for, responds to and learns from disruption. This role is visible and high-impact, shaping long-term resilience strategy, supporting live operational responses and ensuring the airline can respond confidently to major events and evolving global risks.
What You’ll Do
- Shape and drive resilience, crisis management and business continuity across the airline
- Lead and motivate a team, building capability and confidence
- Design and embed resilience frameworks that work in the real world
- Work across BA, partners and alliances to keep plans aligned and effective
- Build strong external relationships to support emergency response
- Ensure high-risk projects are set up to handle disruption from day one
- Support colleagues during incidents — calm, clear, decisive
- Continuously improve BA’s readiness and response capabilities
- Test and exercise plans so readiness isn’t theoretical
- Stay ahead of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Participate in live operational incidents when required

Your Experience
- Leadership experience in a fast-moving operational environment
- Strong stakeholder management across teams and levels
- Experience with regulators, suppliers or crisis response environments
- Understanding of resilience, crisis management or business continuity
- Aware of relevant regulation and emergency response requirements
- Proven ability to make decisions under pressure
- Experience delivering change or improvement initiatives
- Willingness to travel internationally on short notice
- Eligible for airside access (CRC compliant)
- Resilience or business continuity accreditation is a plus
